You don't need to stay in the water on the Big Island to have fun. One of the most amazing trips on the island is the trip to the volcano.
Volcanoes National Park offers miles and miles of nature trails through craters and over lava. This is a must do activity on the Big Island.
If you want a bird's eye view, take a helicopter tour of the Big Island. You can see plunging water falls and lava steaming into the ocean. When
you are at the Volcanoes National Park, stop by the old style Hawaiian town of Hilo. Hilo's gardens and markets are a great way to spend an afternoon. The town of
Volcano also has a winery with several unique wines. Stop by for a tasting.

Shopping and dining experiences are unique to each area on the island. Kona offers small shops and open air cafes along Ali'i Drive.
A bit farther north in the resort areas, there are trendy shops and gourmet restaurants. Be sure to try some local grinds in the small towns
as you explore the island. If you haven't ever been to one, you have to go to a luau. The King Kam in Kailua-Kona has a traditional luau with
tons of food and enjoyable entertainment. Most importantly on your trip to the Big Island be sure to relax!
